On Saturday, May 24, 2014, OME was the beneficiary of part of the ticket proceeds of the Impact Gold Brown All Stars Girls' Softball Tournament in Santa Fe, Texas!  Thank you so much!  Here is Jerry raising the American flag, and also speaking to the girls and their families about OME:
On Sunday, July 6, 2014, we were asked by Rosehill United Methodist Church to give a presentation during their 4th of July Patriotic Concert regarding OME's mission:
Also at that concert, one of our wounded Marines, Sgt. Eric Morante (Ret.), accompanied us to this presentation:
On Saturday, July 19, 2014, we manned a booth for OME at the Watermelon Festival in Hempstead, Texas.  We also shared the same booth with the Watermelon Run for the Fallen. Here are pictures of that event and of some of our volunteers:
Here we are, as we have been called, the "Trio of Trouble"! LOL!  How do you like our new Texas cowgirl hats that we purchased at the Festival?!  Yee haw!:
On November 2, 2014, we got to "break in" our new OME Tent when we set it up at the Houston Polo Club for a drive/fundraiser!  How do you like our new tent?  It was completely donated by one of our VERY GENEROUS donors!
On November 7, 2014, for the second year, the Conservatory in The Woodlands, Texas, hosted an event to honor and recognize our military for Veterans' Day.  This year Jerry Reed, President & Co-Founder of OME, attended and shared an inspiring story of the 4 basic missions being pursued in support of our military.  Several members and sponsors from The Woodlands community attended and were inspired to join in supporting one or more of our 4 missions.  A wonderful evening of food, drink, drawings, and music was had by all!  These 2 posters list those very patriotic sponsors:
The Cross Track Icehouse, located in Spring, Texas, and owned and operated by Marine Eddie Sanchez, was the site of a BBQ fundraiser and Marine Corps Birthday celebration on Saturday, November 8, 2014.  HEB provided the meat and sides for the BBQ, and members of the Marine Corps Motorcycle Club and other veterans' groups came from far and wide to celebrate the MC birthday, and to support our critical mission!
